Once the lettuce has been cooled to the right temperature we transport it in our refrigerated lorries to our two factories at Selsey and Runcton, near Chichester.
The lorry arrives and goes to our delivery bay, where we off-load the lettuce and store it in a specially refrigerated warehouse. Our team of specially trained
quality assessors come in and take samples of the lettuce to make sure there aren't any problems with it. The lettuce stays there until it's needed.
